The M41 Walker Bulldog, officially 76-mm Gun Tank, M41, was an American light tank developed for armed reconnaissance purposes. It was produced by Cadillac between 1951 and 1954 and marketed successfully to the United State Army as a replacement for its aging fleet of World War II-era M24 Chaffee tanks. Although engineered as a reconnaissance vehicle, the M41's weight and armament also made it effective in the close infantry support role and for rapid airborne deployments. Upon entering the US service, all M41s received the designation Little Bulldog and subsequently, Walker Bulldog after the late General Walton Walker, who was killed in a Jeep accident in 1950. The M41 was the first postwar American light tank to see worldwide service, and was exported in considerable numbers by the United State, particularly to Asia.

During the year 1979, while the Alien was busy around the town of Lillian, the United States Air Force was around the town attempting to search for the Alien. Over the course of three days after a numerous number of unprecedened events, the United States Armed Forces had decided to lure the alien monster in using its Argus Cubes. As the creature came out of its subterranean lair and out into the open. General Nelec called out to bring in the big guns, to attempt to either capture or kill the monster. The U.S Army rolled in with M41 Walker Bulldogs, M113 APCs, other vehicles and soldiers/infantry advancing through the town in order to get to the monster. Over eight M41 Walker Bulldog tanks were seen moving through the streets as they fired their 76mm cannons at the creature. One notable M41 was taking heat from the monster, when the creature ran fast towards the tank and knocked into it, causing it to flip over.
